Vaulks to retain the right back position....

Have to agree with gwru that Vaulks was made for this position.

Forget Emmanuelle or Cummings this role is for Vaulks'.

Strong in the tackle and an eye for the ball and barely put a foot wrong all last night.

Vaulks has stated he doesn't want to play there but he is outstanding when doing so. Cast your mind back to the Derby game last season. No nonsense tackling saw both their subs off that attempted to mix it with him, had to laugh at that one. He is certainly a very tough player to play against.

Yes he can be called upon to bolster midfield if needed but, at the moment it ain't squeaking Mr Warne so don't oil it by changing what looked a good back four last night.

Looked like he had allways played there plus we can use his long throw from full back could become a really good player for us

Nope. Cummings will be there when he's fit enough to get back on pitch.

Agree he had a good game but he's failed there in other games

He won't be consistent enough at RB , Cummings is a better one imo more solid

Vaulks did well last night and will probably keep the shirt for Saturday.
I agree with MT though in that Cummings will probably be first choice when he's fit. He is a specialist right back after all.

Its a dangerous game some times playing players out of position they will get caught out against an out & out winger, but can't fault his commitment.

Cummings is too cautious and only commands his area where as Vaulks has the nerve and agility to push up and force the game away from our defensive position.

All about opinions at the end of the day and I respect everyone's as we all see the players and a game in our own prospective.

Sorry bring. Have to agree with others. Cummings and possibly Emmanuel are better defenders than vaulks. Though He's never let us down when called up
