Fit and Proper Persons Test - does it apply in non league?

There's been a lot of discussion on other threads about the FPP test but does it apply to non-league clubs?

There's no mention of clubs outside the EPL and EFL on this website which looks authoritative.

The bloke in question is said to be an 'advisor'. Pretty sure the FAPP only applies to owners and directors.

I think the NL just insist on proof of being able to fulfill a full season financially. But then I'm not sure so just ignore me until someone more credible posts!

See this from the National League rules:

2.7 Any person wishing to be appointed as an Officer to a Club must comply with the requirements of The FA Owners’ and Directors’ Test Regulations and send to the Company Secretary a copy of the Owners’ and Directors’ Declaration within 5 days of sending the same to The FA.

Well.. we can be pretty sure he’s not an advisor can’t we? It’s another swindle.

It doesn’t apply much in any league.
