Put my old dog in when we couldn't get anyone to look after him for a holiday and he came out with some issues, but whether that was because of the change in environment etc i don't know, he was ok after a while though, this was some time ago though so probably not relevant.

Mine came back after a week.
Lost weight. Got squits . sick as fk.
I asked what they had been feeding it.
They didn't know ffs.
Not bad value £125.

sorry to hear that, Crash. Disturbing that they claim not to know what they've fed - or not fed - your canine friend. Sounds neglectful. Do such places have to be registered at all? I think they have to be registered with the local authority and am sure RSPCA would want to know - it's their response that smacks of neglect from what you've shared. Hope your dog makes a good recovery
