He’s happy with the number & quality of the young ones, and he has 3-4 30 somethings for experience, so he’d be concentrating on the age bracket you mentioned.
Which makes a mockery of any thought of signing Paul Coutts

Aye, but to be fair it’s only a few posters on forums/twitter who’ve suggested it.

That Halford was writing stuff on Twitter on Sunday just before the game saying he was biting his tongue about something, seemed directed at the club, he can fu*k off back to obscurity, lanky streak o pish, up there with our worst signings.

IMHO, I genuinely thought he was being sarcastic with relation to the age groups banded, compared to signing younger/promoting youth thru the ranks, if that was not the intent of the post, I’m sorry for mentioning the word “negativity”........it just seems to be the common denominator with certain posters, again I stand corrected and sorry PAC if you took offence.

On a dry run at the moment mondo sadly, the going at the moment has ruled out two horses I’ve been told to back, the golf is ok so making a shilling there at least.......however, could you feel the seethe from the poster you replied to, fear for his keyboard and sanity.......another few insults into the bag though that gave me a chuckle.

You're assuming it was about the club.
Tweet was apparently very early on Sunday morning when in Birmingham.
There was nothing in the tweet that referenced the club.
Followed up with a fishing emoji tweet.

As I said earlier, he was brought in as cover, got injured 19 minutes after coming on, following months without a club.
He did alright from the Aberdeen.

I see also he's since played a bounce game for ex-Colchester United, managing to play just over a half

Only played 55mins cos of my gammy calf

Why would we waste a wage to stick that on the bench when we could easily stick a youth player there and boost his confidence. Odd one indeed
