    There is absolutely no reason for optimism

    If you think this year will be better than any other, then think again.

    Politically, the lunatiks are running the asylum. Homicidal maniacs roam the earth, from the middle east to Africa, Russia, and your town. You are not safe.

    If the NHS gets hold of you, it will try and kill you. If it succeeds, it wont care. Studies have shown that in this country of about 70 million, about 25 to fifty people have perfect mental health. You are nuts.

    Natural disasters like super volcanoes, earthquakes, poisoned effusions will eventually sanitise the earth of human life.

    Ebola is free. Communism doesnt work. Capitalism doesnt work. An asteroid will hit eventually.

    Most of you, like me are 50ish. One of two fatal illnesses will kill you. The usual candidates, like cancer, heart problems stroke etc infinitum is number one.

    The second will get you for sure. Old age. Every second is a countdown to death. The universe will slowly burn out over zillions of years.

    Be hopeful your end will come a

    Im 53 Frank and I've got a lot to sort out this year including a messy divorce,is it worth me bothering or should I just sit and laugh at the letters and watch SSN instead smugly knowing that I won't make my 54th birthday?...
