Who is responsible for Trippiers successful improvement ?

We all knew that Trippier had it in him to become a top player. We also knew that his time at Turf zmoor was always going to be limited because of the progress he made. But who is responsible for making him into the international player he is now ? Is it SD ? Is it Pochettino ? Has Gareth Southgate got anything to do with it ? Is it all 3 of them ?
It’s an interesting thought as he has gone from nowhere to somewhere in a short space of time. you could argue he is playing with better players in North London. You could also argue that he was given a chance to improve in a successful Burnley team when his career was going nowhere.
One thing I do know and that is for me, he is fast becoming Mr Versatile and that he’s England’s best player out in Russia. Anyone think the same ?

I think skill, self belief and mentoring by Dyche and Pochettino followed by the trust Southgate has placed in him, have led to his incredible improvement. A quick word of praise for Eddie Howe too for dragging Trippier and Mee out of Citeh's reserves and getting the two lads' careers kick started.

Definitely one of our best players so far, stats say he is third with 12 chances created, and highest with 11 corners that have found a team mate, his penalty superb and his defending is much improved.
He doesn’t mention ( or the Guardian ignores ) his time here and it’s down to Beckham videos and Man City coach Steve Eyre.

I remember Poch bought him because he put in over 20 crosses in our game at White Hart Lane, though Walker kept him out for 2 years subsequently. He has previously paid credit to Burnley though and his career would have been dead if not for us.

I think Tripps himself is most responsible for his rise and rise.

I think many people watching him at Burnley thought that he was international class...but he had no chance while in the Championship and in his first season in the Prem with us.

Without doubt he learned a lot whilst at Burnley.

Spurs 42

So he was brilliant for us and we were brilliant for him.
