    Daughter says don’t go to the Winter Green through Catcliffe as it’s not the same quality anymore and the beef is as tough as boot leather.

    Prince of Wales on Ecky Road is excellent.

    Elephant And Castle In Hemingfield is really good.

    Both a bit pricey though.

    You’ve obviously not tasted my pre match homemade sausage rolls then! Plenty will praise them and there’s a few on here who have.

    As for my Yorkshire puds, they have to be cooked in pork dripping, none of your cooking oils and normal fat. Mmmmmmm simply luvleeeee

    By coincidence we have just had a roast beef dinner. We were out Sunday so it was decided to do it today. My other half is her own worse enemy when it comes to roast or any meat dish because I refuse to eat out on Sundays , I haven't found anywhere who comes close to her home cooking.... Now, owt fancy is another story

    We had roast beef, giant Yorkshire pudding, 4 veg, roasties & mashed potato's, with a pudding
    to follow in the Summer Breeze, in Calis Beach, Turkey, 3 sunday's on the trot, lovely.
