I had immediately slotted Robson back into LB but it worked and worked well under physical conditions. He is better there than Smith there and Smith better central. 442 Akinght?
Robson left mid and booth Lb with Cammy Smith starting over Stanton for me today.

I would have the team that finished on Tuesday in the same positions. If we get ahead enough, get Harkes, Nesbitt and Sow(if on bench) on to finish them off. Now ive said that......
Seen Smith play better, but did well enough on Tuesday and away at Falkirk to keep his place there.
Cmon United!
looking forward to this! cue 1-1 despair lol
Winning ugly is a good sign some times. But when you win ugly, draw ugly and lose ugly, it points to the team being ugly and horrible to watch. I didn't have any confidence in beating Alloa today, glad we did right enough, but we just scrap past every game by the odd goal. We're 2nd in the league with a goal difference of +5, when has that ever happened lol
Not sure what my point is really. Probably that we are just brutal to watch in most games, win lose or draw. Hoping it's a means to an end and if we get promoted we'll magically morph into a decent side playing some decent football. At the end of the day we're never going to win the Premiership, so the goal should be to entertain us at least.
Thought Robson was underused in the 1st half but excellent in the 2nd half. Don't know why we're still on this thread though?? We didn't win ugly today, that was a hell of an improvement on Tuesday albeit against an more inferior team. Thought we played some good stuff today with spatterings of not so good.
3 pts is an that matters, Alloa after today have lost 5 games away in the league all season, 2 at Tannadice, they have gained pts all season away from home
5 home wins in a row in the league now for us
Obviously we will need to be good on Tuesday to win against Dunfermline who are in excellent form having won 5 in a row without conceding...
