Not sure what chanting goes on in your local boozer The Morris Dancer Alf but football stadium legislation states ................
Chanting
It is an offence to join in with racial and abusive chanting.
You may also find yourself in trouble for standing up and joining in with chanting 'likely to cause alarm and distress'.
Stewards
Most clubs employ stewards for crowd control. They have the rights of citizens arrest' (i.e. if you have committed a criminal offence they can arrest you and hand you over to the police) but in reality the police will invariably back up their actions.
Not sure what chant can be mustered at Turf Moor from the Burnley posse of one man and his dog.

Worth a read mate - i think most people would be shocked at the extent it's happened....

Written by a Leeds fan, but the facts are gathered in one place and speak for themselves.
Only now seen the jack Harrison penalty appeal moment from the Millwall game, the ref was ten feet away and gave nothing, that was a worse "supposed challenge" than beradi's....Jesus Christ!
Hindsight eh Alf.
When someone sees the error of their ways they understand that what they are doing is wrong and accept to change their behaviour.
Some do some don't .................... applicable to any era with society issues.
That particular song you refer to is not heard nowadays in stadia - end of.
On Saturday racist remarks, gestures, chants were observed and filmed via Leeds stewards coming from a Millwall contingent primary at the Leeds bench which will result in banning orders.
Will they learn the error of their ways and change their behaviour ?
In hindsight did Berardi make an error or was he conned ?
Can he learn from that incident or other reds he's been involved in ?
Finally Leeds have a Spanish keeper in 'hot water' racial allegations and it'll be interesting which alleged verbal racist coverage gets more media space.

Beradi ref card had been rescinded, doesnt change the fact we've lost points and that cheating **** Bradshaw got away with cheating.
I kniw it would never happen, but isn't the logic of overturning the red (and by implication at least, the penalty), that that goal be ruled null and void and the results determined by goals scored in open play/"legitimate" set pieces, so we should at least have a draw out of that game?
I think that ref needs some time to develop his skill. An extended stint in conference or possibly Lg 2 would help him develop it.
The diver should be given a 3 game suspension. Have to start making it painful for the divers. Right now it's totally out of kilter. a 3 game suspension for a "red card" while simulation is a yellow card.
Not exactly difficult to figure out how to even up the punishment.
