If you're comiing south on the M1.
Come off at 24A. Signed A50 Stoke.
After about a quarter of a mile exit at junction 1.
Left at roundabout, follow Castle Donington signs, over railway bridge, (past Available Car. com) this road will take you through Castle Donington. Up the hill, past the Aeropark .Follow the airport perimeter (you'll see the runway).
It brings you to the Race Circuit entrance (where the museum is/was.
Turn left. Jet Parks is 100 yards away, left at roundabout or go straight on for main entrance.
    Sounds complicated but it's easy.

Coming from Clifton way or North M1, come off at 24 and take the A50 exit (to the left of the Hilton)

Straight on is on the A453. It might only be a shortish stretch, I don't know where the congestion is, but it is still A453.

Yes It's 150 yards of the A453 - not 3 to 4 miles coming the other way.

Coming through Donington is the way to avoid walking in the rain with a suitcase but, yes it uses the 453.
    Sorry, ignore my post.

If my information saves just one person's holiday etc. etc.............

On another point I heard last night that rockers were turning up at Download, seeing the state of the place and going back home.
There's a rumour they were asking Mud to reform and join the bill.

I'm dropping family off there at 4am tomorrow. I always drop them off down the side road opposite the roundabout near departures on Viscount Road, it's only a two minute walk from there. When I collect, I wait around the UPS depot at the back of the BP petrol station and tell them to walk through to there, which takes about three minutes. I refuse to pay the robbing b@stards a penny in parking fees.

£3 at Manchester Airport - even if person is waiting with no bags, so we talking 1 minute tops.

    Daylight robbery it is.

Trouble is there is no alternative as the train system is unreliable - so what can you do. All its done is meant everyone walks the 200m beyond the payment gate and gets picked up there instead. All it is a money making scam - nothing else.
