    We get many of the British shows over here either through Netflix, HULU or PBS (Downton Abbey, Sherlock, Planet Earth, Broadchurch, Call the Midwife etc). I'm not a diehard Dr Who fan, but I watch episodes every now and then. Mostly just to understand it as a cultural artifact.

    Sherlock is the only good show you mentioned there Mich, although even that has lost the spark now that it originally had.
    I think this female Dr Who decision is a pathetic one, but who knows she might improve the show again. I never did take to Peter Capaldi as the curent Dr.
    And Im guessing you were never a fan eh Abbo ?. lol

    If they ever got Dr Who to appear on Loose women, or Bake off, or Casualty, Id stop watching telly forever!!
