yeah i also think 4 3 3 can work for us norwood will be a quality addition and i think an automatic choice as for basham were gonna need him this season when injuries set in and would always be in my match day 18 also got a feeling leonard will go the same way as holmes in the jtw

However if we continue with the 5-3-2 system then who’s playing in the FWD positions? I want to give Woodburn full license and a good run in the team, let’s see how good this lad can be. That doesn’t bode well for Duffy though I’m afraid which is why I’d like to see a 4-3-3 system.
Agree with that although i think Lenny will come good this season, I thought he looked a lot sharper yesterday when he came on.

I hope he does, obviously brilliant for Southend, it’s just not quite ‘clicked’ as of yet for some reason.

Norwood is a top signing. A very rare one for us in that he'll walk straight into the team.

It reduces our reliance on Coutts returning in good form.

Possible bad news for Duffy though.

One thing I've suggested is 4-3-1-2...

    Henderson
    Baldock Egan O'Connell Bryan
    Norwood Coutts Fleck
    Duffy
    Clarke Woodburn

That team with a Clarke replacement looks good. I am interested who next weeks second signing is ?. Marvin Johnson does not fit our system or current set up one bit. I would prefer 2 New strikers.

Marvin Johnson would slot straight in at LWB and improve us considerably.

could be right there herbie can only be good for enda in the long run to have some competition plus if we have to change the set up during games would be excellent out wide if we go 4 4 2
