    Libya etc.

There seems to be ongoing disasters around the world, fire, water, the earth shaking, wind etc, something seems to happen practically every day.

Britain shall not escape, its just a matter of time, certainly in Anglia, the sea level only has to rise so much and the flat lands are gone, the sea wil give Cambridge a beach.

Cumbria suffers constant rain, your threat from wet unusual weather would have catastrophic effects, i follow the weather and its amazing how vast chuncks of rain travel up the west coast and western regions, but not the east, indeed, droughts are common and will have catastrophic effects on grain.

I have built up canned goods just in case, water will be a problem, fresh water. Harsh winters will hit you hard. Most will regard this as a joke, i would not if i were you.

Tbh Frank, that is probably the most sensible OP I have ever seen you write….

Global weather is a cause for concern I must admit… pre Covid we went to Zante for a late October half term break & had the worst earthquake on our last night… was frightening & not good…

It’s not going to end soon, it’s only going to get worse but probably not in our lifetime..

Not the case in Anglia, the local paper reports most of anglia will be underwater by 2050, i might still be alive. Of course, no one has taken any notice of it whatsoever, if i was young id be looking at moving pronto. When i lived in Stoke i was snoozing on the sofa one afternoon when tremors hit.

It woke me up and the walls trembled i felt it, Stoke in riven with old mines it may have been a cave in, ttremors are not unusual up there.

Its scary. I dont know what will happen to Carlisle if a mega storm hits, water is your achilles heel, as per your ground, Carlisle is on sea level isnt it, it might be worth being aware where to go if you have too.
