Well, there was exhibit one in the “For” case right there.

Done, as indeed the ref should be

We'd have taken the result from the start I think but this is a sickener

Do we get the same ref in the return leg?

If we don't reach Wembley now, that pen decision will go down as the greatest injustice of all time in Notts history.

A draw is a huge result though. you've gotta fancy us at home with our record at Meadow Lane these days.

When the ref sees that replayed, surely the ref has to apologise to Nolan. He’ll redeem himself a bit with that, IMV.

What’s gone off to warrant so much time added on. BBC site is showing 90+8?

Well that’s it we’ve got a 1-1 draw which is kind of the outcome most of us would have wanted away from home. Just disappointing to have been in the lead for most of the second half and thanks to what seems a shocking referee decision we are denied the victory.

We need to take the positives from this now and use that decision by the referee as motivation for when we play at Meadow Lane. Hopefully Fortes injury is not as bad as it is being reported.

We’ve now got an excellent chance at home, and we are still in the game.

Unbelievable as I’ve typed we’ve done it again shot ourselves in the foot and conceded a penalty late on. Can someone elaborate what happened.
Toots clearly beats the Covo attacker to the ball, stays on his feet and pushes the ball away.....attacker throws himself over Toots feet...peno.

THE WORST DECISION EVER IN THE HISTORY OF FOOTBALL

    This.

Jones used the waterlogged pitch to our advantage with our goal, but Nolo has got to get the players feeling a Notts win at ML will be justice.

Still haven't got over the 99th minute penalty against Mansfield either. I'm off to shout at the dog/kids/neighbours/clouds etc.

It amazes me how many fans still speak against VAR with some sort of sentimental attachment to days gone by. To me it's a no brainer to introduce it at all levels where it can be afforded, and play-off games certainly need it. Why would we have goal-line technology today, but not VAR?

This is not the 1930's jumpers for goalposts with tea and scones after the match anymore. It's a serious, professional sport where a wrong decision can potentially cost a club thousands (or even millions) of pounds. To throw out the old line about 'luck evening itself out over time' is just a joke. If the technology is there to minimise the number of errors made by officials, it should be employed. This is the 21st century for crying out loud!

Then again, if you look at the amateurs running football, compared with other sports, it shouldn't be a surprise we're still crawling out of the dark ages.
