This same player was not even in the squad today.

His wife gave birth I believe that's why he wasn't in the squad

For some, it won't matter what we do, they just have an inherent random dislike of Neilson... that's what makes wins more sweet for me, club needs stability not another manager change and results since Feb show Neilson is doing fine, more than enough to suggest we won't be easy to finish above over the season

Who on here is saying that Neilson has to go? Seen it on forum elsewhere, but im not so sure ive seen it here?

We had a winning team, it was tinkered with and we lost. It was tinkered with again with players out of position, and we had to dig out a result in the last 2 minutes!

    Not good enough!

We could have lost without any tinkering, we will never know, hindsight, pity Clark is hopeless, if he'd buried his chance we'd maybe have went onto win at Ayr, at least take a point, he has a fan club though.

Oh, it's good enough, win 83%, it's good enough alright

At some point you have to credit the opposition. Gameplan was very clear from them, they allowed our centre halves possession and stayed tight behind the ball. Yes we passed the ball back and sideways, but was often all we could do. Fair to say that a number of players didn't play well, and fair also to question the set up, but we did get the 3 points and did get positives out of it......refreshed McMullan, Sporle, Chalmers pleasing. Most pleasing is the squad resilience to grab victory from jaws of defeat.

For me, a bit much negativity about the game. Wont watch the highlights but am prepared to be pleased with 3 points in a game against a team who played at their maximum (and actually did little positive)

Need to find a way to give centre halves more options when playing out as next week will be similar in how the opposition approach it.

No one is above criticism, Neilson included and he has flaws that is obvious or he wouldn't be at utd, but the criticism is always ott after any defeat and even a win than you see when praise is merited, people disappear only to appear again the last couple weeks

Plus quite a lot of slavering boo boys, two or three on teks and a few on East, maybe not on here but you can tell some are waiting sharpening the knives, it's all a bit bizarre, this is a results business and his results are more than good enough, especially since Jan and this season upto now

Not like we just lost 6 at Falkirk then took 3 at home to Morton and QotS.... We've gave Inverness 4, Dundee 6, won 5/6, came from behind to win two games, 3/3 at home with ten goals scored... It's not bad really, enjoy it, this will be a good season

Slavering boo boy is quite an interesting observation to make about someone, something i could maybe attribute to you and your opinion on Stanton and Clark.

Yes it is results that matter, but we have been down here for too long, but there have been warning flags. Poor win at Stenhousemuir, papped out by EF. Poor v Partick and get a win, only to be beaten again by Ayr and last ditch win v Arbroath. And all the games you mention, and i will take in draw and second half win v Brechin, there were warning signs in the lead up to those games that you keep ignoring! The warning signs for today came from Arbroaths form and 2 weeks ago!

That maybe due to the FACT that we played 2 up front against them.We changed formation to 4-5-1 against the mighty Ayr and although we lost Robbie decided that 4-5-1 was the way to go at HOME to FN Arbroath.Dick Campbell must have thought he was the Pep or Jurgen of Scottish football when he brought his PART TIME team into Tannadice today.
