Last time they were at Dens they brought 1,742......now that would be about 6 buses giving around 20% of fans travel by bus.

None of the big clubs are in our league unless you count "comfortably the 6th biggest"🤣.....so every team would get their wagons parked up.

Overspill could easily be the provie rd but away fans ain't my concern it's making the atmosphere better in Dens and helping the team when things get tight.

We cud have asked the polis for permission to try out this season but unfortunately our board and most respected ain't interested in suggestions about how to improve things.

I live in hope of one day seeing a storage shed.

[QUOTE=Deeranged;39266171]Would mean away fans and home fans crossing outside the main stand after the games as away fans head for buses

This happened for years, we’ve had old firm in provie and tc keay at same time, we’ve had them in Derry in past, all it would mean is the police would actually have to police the area

If we get promoted do we go back to Coxy?

I did go with Jdfc suggestion but of course by the time we get promoted it may not be an issue with camperdown.😁

We can go on and on hoping for a different atmosphere by continuing to house our own fans all over the place.

The dabs changed home ends and fans mix after the game and I don't remember it going all the way to the high court for authority.

Or the polis could put an old fashioned barrier across the street to stop fans mixing aka 1977 to 85ish.

It's not an impossible switch and would have 3 main benefits.

    Help the team

Bring all our fans closer together

The moaners more easily drowned out.

    Win win win

And does anyone know why we have switched dug outs or even a theory?

Guessing you'd have to switch the family section to the other side of the stand where away fans would no longer be when there's only a handful of them? Good idea but not one the brass would remotely consider given they lack any imagination, which if they had, they could look to join the SE and Coxy up with a standing area in that dead zone

Good question. Maybe to stop idiot managers running up to the fans in The Shankly when their team scores? Or maybe just a better view of the pitch?

Does it mean that away players will now be warming up in front of The Coxy and ours in front of The Shankly? Wasn't at the Blackpool game myself to see.

    In a nutshell.

    It's so simple it's scary.

There's even enough room behind the shankly to make an exit onto the Dens Road and open up the original Derry steps for an entrance to an from the Derry.

I realise they don't want to spend anything on the ground but they spend a lot to maintain it to ****ey levels anyway.

Noticed tannadice getting spruced up the other day (all the turnstile doors getting repainted) all I see at Dens is botch jobs, neglect and the worst bits being covered by Kilmac banners.

There is no need for your current home to be a tip whilst waiting on a new council house, why is Dens a tip when we employ a stadium manager to manage it?
