So if West Ham can do it why can't we.

    I'll answer that one simply.

We have Ashley as an owner and West Ham do not. It's as easy to answer as that.

Good luck to both for showing more ambition.

    thats a telling point fella!
not wanting to get mixed up in your Geordie politics ie Ashley, but we had the same issue last year with our two bob shysters, massive fan protests towards the owners when we played Burnley, seems to have worked i reckon,
not sure what the problem is with a club like Newcastle that cannot get sound investment from a multi blah blah!!!
    all the best now lads

John, you have one over us there. At least your two bob shysters are closer to your fans than our ONE BOB SHYSTER.

Hi John. What form did the protest take? Our problem is that the owner never goes to the games so wouldn't feel the force of the protests.

    Evening, John.
Aye, he used to stand with the fans back in the day, buy them pints, wear the shirt.

    thats for sure

if his player was settled and wanted to stay
he would be banging down rafas door asking for an extended contract and better pay

for no other reason than when we needed or wanted to sell we would get a better price

i would say after not getting in the england squad

he has realised he needs to be at a bigger club
So are you claiming Leicester, who supplied two squad members and Bournemouth, Burnley and West Brom who supplied stand by players are bigger clubs than us.

And you have the nerve to call yourself a Newcastle United supporter.

There's something missing in your rationalisation there.
