If it was the dead club - cheating and spending money it didn’t have - course he’d have went.
But this is Sevco, A third rate basket case tribute act. If he turned down Sunderland there was always a good chance he’d turn down Sevco.
Maybe the weegia and the deluded entitled orcs might just start realising now that the tribute act ain’t all that - and are not and will not ever be the dead club. Those days are gone forever GIRFUY 😂😂😂
If this scenario does pop up again, he has to decide much quicker about what he wants to do. 6 weeks of fannying about is unacceptable.
Given that some among those in the know, who knew that our manager was leaving, suggested Neil Lennon as a replacement, do they think that Sevco 5088 should tap him using Traynor’s attack dogs, and that he’d be an ideal fit at the Hunnery?
Who fannied about for 6 weeks?
He and Milne issued statements a while ago, and the manager said before the Killie game that if the press had questions that they’d be better addressed to that club, about whose machinations and associated speculation he refused to comment.
The first inkling of any renewed Dead Basturds’ interest in our manager was when Alex Rae (or McNeil, I refuse to listen to these ****s) said a week ago that the 5088 still hoped to appoint him. That grew arms and legs over and after the weekend, with the bookies having him at 1/25 the momentum grew, with the creashy ultra-objectionable hoor’s abortion Traynor orchestrating it.
We have played it straight, asked for the dosh upfront, which the potless scum struggled with, and the manager was removed from the spotlight after we telt them to get to ****.
It looks to me that it’s been handled pretty well, with the added bonus of making Traynor look like a bigger bairn than ever.
That probably doesn’t suit some agendas, though.
Too bad.
Its quite obvious they didn't stump up the money.
This is one reason DM would have reflected on and decided to say well clear.
They have no money, their board is rank, their history churning through managers, their unrealistic expectations.
McInnes is intelligent enough to see through their charade.
NBow had they acted professionally, approached Aberdeen immediately after Caixinho was sacked and offer the release compensation amount, DM might have considered differently.
But SevCo are a wreck of a club and DM knows this
Fans are entitles to express their views on McInnes' management of the team. He deserves a lot of the flak for the pitiful performances against the cheeks this season and now has a big job to do in finding a system that works for the current batch of players.
But some of the stuff that has been said about McInnes here and elsewhere is shameful. Basically accusing him of reaching an agreement with the h*ns behind everyone's back. I haven't the faintest clue what's been happening behind the scenes but given that he's now rejected any approach I think it's fair to surmise that there has been very little direct contact between McInnes and the h*ns.
Those desperate to see him go will continue to bang the same drum.
