    Woodrow Watch

Passes played to him during the match.
1st half …… lost the ball FOURTIEN times.
2nd half ……lost the ball TWELVE times.

The quick tippy tappy football looks very impressive - but we need to mix it up but we didn’t have the option of doing that.
We should have won that 2-4 if we had a proper target striker on the field.
Commentator said during the match that he was surprised that no one had come in for Woodrow.
    I’m not !!!
We cannot afford to carry players like Woodrow.

As for the game itself - I’m a bit disappointed with the end result - we seemed to run out of steam when Palmer and then Benson went off.
BUT - I’d have taken that before the game.

    How many were penalties?
For QPRs 1st goal ….. that mistake by Woodrow cost us.
Woodrow performance today just lost us 2 points - and could easily have lost us all 3.

If you don’t believe me - watch the recording of the match - and see how many times he fails to control the ball when it’s played up to him - how many passes he misplaced - and how many goal scoring chances he fails to take.
Swap Woodrow for Morris today and we would have easily won that.

Prediction - Woodrow will not be in the starting lineup towards the end of the season.

Other than that - I thought we played really well.
    We are getting there.

to be fair to him he did well taking his goal and that type of goal is what we want from him but second half he was clueless but i don't help when your on top then come out 2nd and basically just defend. we knew here that they was going to score and they did after that we all said nailed on draw. Woodrow gets 6/10 because he scored otherwise it would be 5/10.

I would say Woodrow is the best penalty taker I’ve ever seen at Barnsley.

It's one thing digging Woodrow out and with all due respect anyone can do that .

It's quite another finding a replacement who can score the amount of goals he's scored here with the budget we operate under .

What many clearly don't appreciate is the fact Cauley occupies defences , he's the one the opposition look to keep quiet .

Is he always man of the match every week absolutely not but as I say go try and replace him effectively and then get back to me .
