All rumours at this time of year. Alex Schalk was another rumour/name that I've heard mentioned in a few circles.

Physical and offers something different to what we have.
I wouldn't be overly upset if we did or didn't make a move for him but I do feel he'd score goals for us. I also didn't know he's been capped at Dutch U21 level either.

Supposedly on a fortune. Paid more than our top earner straight out of Uncle Roy's back hipper. Not worth that sort of money if its true.

His stats aren’t great, I know it’s Ross County, but last 3 years in the league;
15/16; 5 goals in 25 games
16/17; 5 goals in 32 games
17/18; 11 goals in 30 games

Ok, physical may not be the "best" description. How about he has a great centre of gravity as he's difficult to knock off the ball. As I say I think he'd score goals but wouldn't be overly concerned if we were not interested in him.

He wouldn't fit our style as an out and out striker.
He'd need to play as one of the three behind the main striker, probably wide.
My recollection is of him more often than not, operating down the left side and not convinced he'd be better than GMS.

But Schalk is not physical whether he’s 5’9” or 6’9”.
Quite the opposite, he’s a diving cheat.
