Or put another way did you borrow money from a bank so that in a few years you own that property or do you pay a peppercorn rent until the day that the landlord says thank you very much and goodbye?
I am only sorry that we will not be around for that happy day.
My favourite part of the contract is the bit that says 'West Ham will have to pay an extra £1m in the unlikely event they win the Champions League'.
Pure comedy Gold (no offence David!!
ahhh the bitterness!
easy now, you are obviously aware that your stadia will cost you and not the others as they say.. jealousy gets you everywhere!
enjoy and be merry that your iconic new stadium will be built right next to that sh ithouse you refer to as 'home,' ie .......
dump!
be lucky now
john.
Surprised Harlow has not made an appearance
Looks like you are the jealous one, dagenham Ullo John! Gotta New Motors. White Hart Lane was an iconic stadium known throughout the football world. It held 77,000 fans and has seen many famous European nights including Finals. The largest crowd at Boleyn Ground (see what I did there Tricky?) was 42,000 and that was to see Spurs.
I always enjoyed our games at Upton Park as it was always a great atmosphere and we usually won there.
Be lucky
not your last outing at the Boleyn you didn't (enjoy)
title hopes?... yeah!
the spuds thought it was a given
never forget the look on dier and brucies faces after that iconic defeat from a team that had been struggling with injuries and form all season! and no we wasn't lucky, just better
