Fulham spent 35 million on an attacker and they have 3 official defenders registered. hahaha
Sad part is we're kind of in the opposite situation. We better start bidding on some strikers.

Jean-Michael Seri - been tracked by all the big names apparently. From Monaco, or Nice. They signed a defender at the same time for £4 million.

It really gets me that we are prepared to sell a player for £20 M or £30M but won’t buy anyone over say £15M
If nitro goes for £20M we will be lucky to break our 12 year old transfer record on one player

All the big guns are not exactly knocking on the door to sign Mitro

    Out: Merino £10m
    Looking very like going:
    Mitro £20m
    Hayden £8/10m
    Sels £2m
    Mbemba £8m
    Ritchie £15m
    Colback £0/1m
    £65m total

    Currently in:
    Dubravka £4m
    Ki £0
    Kenedy £3/4m loan fee?

    Need 2 strikers £35m? (Rondon hopefully not + 1) 1 x winger £18m (Townsend?) 1 x centre mid (?)£10/12m? 1 x right back (?) £7/10m?

    £83/85m

Obviously rough figures would give us an outlay of under £20m......oh I forgot the 5 year contract payments need to be factored in (which no other club does because they make money in the intervening years and we don’t).

Not convinced we'll get that much for Hayden personally.

Particularly if clubs know he wants to move.

That's without last season 10th money, last season's tv money and the next instalment of TV money that's due any minute. The next installments of transfer money for players sold.Oh hang on.We are the only club like you say that factors in wages. So that extra money will be used to increase the loan and pay wages.Buy the fat slug more shares in other companies outside of Newcastle.
