    Struggling?

Here’s the link to the original story for those who don’t want to click on that rag.

Maybe those mindless morons who savaged Hardy for selling us a pack of lies can see that there was good reason for his procrastination. That is not to say that he was squeaky clean but he didn't deserve some of the awful things that were said about him.

Typical Sun none story. If Pique enquired after the Reedz he was very late to the party. Don't see how this showers our previous owner in Sid's appreciation. Also doesn't answer why the Club was still talking to the May consortium long after the guy was exposed as an ex-con man. Fortunately its all now ancient history, we seem to finally have good owners who will bring some long overdue stability.

Are you saying Pique should have taken Hardy at his word and jumped in without checking where his money was going? I don't see why Hardy deserves praise for nearly destroying Notts County while greedily hoping for higher offers. I don't believe either that AH thought Pique's ownership might prove dodgy or that he thought the Reedtz brothers would be in Notts' best interest. It was Hardy's desperation in the countdown to closure that made him grab what he could while he could, if Pique had stepped in earlier with a higher offer then that's what Hardy would have taken. Perhaps the "mindless morons" were right in their "savaging", as you so cutely put it.

I think we are blessed to have the Reedz brothers as our new owners. They appear to have stabilised the future of Notts, and done so without any fanfares or outlandish statements we became used to.

Perhaps he didnt deserve some of the bilge that was said but the suggestion that he procrastinated is laughable. He would happily have sold the club to someone convicted of conning people out of their mortgages if the money was there and when it was revealed that he was talking to them it took around one month for him to confirm that conversations were over. There was more good reason to say awful things about him than suggest that his procrastination was anything about benefiting Notts. In case you missed it he also happily kept his golf club while also not paying hundreds of people for months and months. The man is a disgrace.

Well I for one have absolutely no sympathy for AH and to be honest wish people didn't keep giving him the column inches he so obviously craves. I just want him to go away now and let's be right, if anyone needed the column inches he did!

Perhaps Hardy "procrastinated" to get the best deal he could so he could use the money to pay his ex-employees what he owed them - eh, sid? Sounds reasonable?

Such a takeover seems very unlikely but also very Notts County.
