If Forest accept that bid we should match it asap and offer him a five year contract.

An important consideration: does the lad live in the Notts area?

Born in Notts I believe, so think it's probable he does. Don't know for sure, however.

Exactly, I'm sure we want to buy a striker but losing him would affect the team as much as gaining a new striker. Plus he'll be worth way more than that in a couple of years.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. 'Scoop' Curtis never knows anything until the official club statement and I doubt that the Mirror even know League 2 exists.

However, we do have Noble to come in, along with O'Connor when fit again, not to mention Milson and all the other midfielders queuing up for a chance in the first team. Do we really need to spend £100k on a position we have already got options for ? I don't know but i'm sure the management team will have their own thoughts and i trust them to make the right choice

O'Connor more than likely won't play this season,Milson is now going to see a specialist,so I would imagine he will be out for a few weeks,at least.
Curtis by all accounts (KN)is going out on loan.Starts to leave us a bit bare

As does a bench with Hodge & Saunders on it
