It does appear so, however, probably proportional to the clubs income. Personally I think £55k a year is excessive for any football player

If I remember correctly it was something like

    Celtic £750,000 each player
    The Rangers £450,000 each player
    Aberdeen £180,000 each player
    Hibs £140,000 each player
    Hearts £140,000 each player
    Dundee £55,000 each player

Why could The Rangers not steady their ship and pay more like Aberdeen?
Rangers' players wages surely isn't the biggest surprise in that list. Anyone that watched Dundee's game midweek must be wondering who the hell can justify being on £55,000 a year in that team.

I imagine we had players on similar wages the year we went down and to think of the amount of season tickets that need sold to cover one player's wages is frightening.

A big problem is that some of these unbelievably sh1te players look at the above figures and feel that they're hard done by.

They lose some games and feel justified in downing tools because they're on a poor wage compared to some of their fellow professionals.

Bunch of tossers who don't appreciate the unbelievable chance they have been given.

But they're traumatised because they've been asked to do a bit of extra training, they're psychologically damaged by seeing pictures of decent players on the wall and their nerves are shattered because someone in the stand said they were rubbish. Poor little snowflakes.
