Biggest defeat for a government since 1924 .

I expect we will be staying in the EU then .

Totally agree. The UK passport is currently ranked joint 4th in the world in terms of visa free travel, along with countries like Japan, Switzerland, Austria and Canada. As it stands, a UK passport will get an individual Visa free entry into 120 countries, with a further 44 offering Visa on arrival.

So even in the very unlikely event that the remaining 27 EU countries ban all UK citizens from travelling, we'd still enjoy hassle free travel to 137 countries. But lets not be silly about this, there won't be any travel ban to the EU.

The likely scenario is that Visa free travel will still exist. But even if they really cut their noses off to spite their faces and make it so UK citizens need a Visa to travel to EU countries, there wouldn't be any need to apply for a different visa for each country. It'd be a simple case of applying for a Schengen Zone Visa, which would allow for unrestricted travel across 26 European countries (22 of which are EU countries, the other four being Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). Of the remaining EU countries not in Schengen, Romania and Bulgaria are in the process of becoming Schengen countries, which leaves Ireland, Croatia and Cyprus. I'd be very shocked if Ireland and Cyprus imposed travel restrictions on the UK, can't see Croatia going for it either given its desire to become a tourist destination.

Money talks, British tourists spend loads of it, hence why so many countries world over offer us Visa free travel. At worst we'll see minor form filling introduced to allow unrestricted movement across the continent. The world will still spin, the sun will still rise, RUFC will still be punching above their weight in the Championship. We won't wake up on March 30th with pre '89 East Berlin style restrictions on our movements

You have to laugh at the DUP , totally against May's brexit deal , not a good word to say about it , double crossed a couple of times during the process too .

Yet they will vote for the government in tomorrow's no confidence vote , along with Frank Field I'd bet .

    Bizarre people .

    How is that surprising?

You think they'd support Corbyn, friend of the IRA?

Yep Labour no chance in the confidence vote. You have to remember the DUP are basically right wing sh its themselves so are not gonna do Labour any favours. Think Corbyn might have jumped a bit early but then again there is a chance that a few tories pissed off with May, seeing that they are stuck with her for at least another year, might at least abstain. Plus they might fancy their chances in another general election.

    From Juncker toneet:

I take note with regret of the outcome of the vote in the House of Commons this evening. On the EU side, the process of ratification of the withdrawal agreement continues.

The withdrawal agreement is a fair compromise and the best possible deal. It reduces the damage caused by Brexit for citizens and businesses across Europe. It is the only way to ensure an orderly withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The European Commission, and notably our chief negotiator Michel Barnier, has invested enormous time and effort to negotiate the withdrawal agreement. We have shown creativity and flexibility throughout.

I, together with President Tusk, have demonstrated goodwill again by offering additional clarifications and reassurances in an exchange of letters with Prime Minister May earlier this week.

The risk of a disorderly withdrawal of the United Kingdom has increased with this evening’s vote. While we do not want this to happen, the European Commission will continue its contingency work to help ensure the EU is fully prepared. I urge the United Kingdom to clarify its intentions as soon as possible. Time is almost up.

Dunt sound like anyone who is gonna make any further concessions
