I really enjoyed watching that interview! He has so much experience in the management of domestic clubs who play in the top leagues of their countries, also international teams, that I think he can be a very very good signing. I'm just really glad we didn't go down the John Hughes, Jimmy Mac route, or even bringing in an absolutely untried and untested football pundit (which, as we have seen can go horribly wrong). A wee bit of out of the box thinking and possibly a bit of a gamble (every new manager is) but this man has worked in management at the top level and will know how to get the best out of the players he has under him. He also seems to be a bit mental. I can see a Scottish Cup win for us this season

Good post. I didn't want to say it, but you're right, there's a touch of the Golacs with him. Hopefully it's the cup Golac and not the league Golac!

I'm in! If he can get his positivity and unity to work with the players and fans, I think he could be really good for us! He appears to have a really good work ethic and should be able to get the best out of the players that want to do well.....I can also see some players falling foul to his techniques but that will be of a benifit to the team. Loved the part when he spoke about LE forgetting about seeing his wife for the next few months! I'm buying into his confidence and beliefs....I'm lovin Mr Loverman!

Really pleased we have a manager with a track record that stands up to scrutiny.

Saint Murn will be hoping that McInnes stays at Aberdeen.

Really good upbeat interview, CL is going to be a character alright.

Also likely that he's told ST and the board what tweaks to the squad are required and probably negotiated some wriggle room for himself in January.

I welcome the return of a manager with the initials CL, the last one was pretty good! I hope this is an omen !

Not my choice, but then I hadn't even factored Shabba into the equation hope he gets the support he will need to get our great club back to its rightful position in Scottish fitba

Hopefully he'll be at the forthcoming sponsors dinner and I'll have the opportunity soon to explain what FTD means to us

Time will tell, we just hope he's got the right man and no crazy caveats in the contract getting bonuses for selling our best players.....but time will tell

Shagger Shabba will be giving time by me
