Exeter City striker Jevani Jason Brown as been charged with a woman's assault by beating.
The player was charged after a assault took place in the early hours of Thursday 2nd February,
in Queens street, Exeter.
28 year old Brown released on bail, & will appear before magistrates on Thursday 16th
February.
Exeter City Fc released a statement on Friday 3rd February, which said the player would not
feature in their game against Charlton Athletic , due to a ' Club Disciplinary Matter '.
The player will not feature for Exeter City Fc until all legal proceedings have concluded.

Portsmouth Fc were interested in the player during the January transfer window.

“The Premier League footballer currently on bail amid two allegations of rape is being investigated for a third alleged ***ual offence.

It has emerged that the player, whose bail was recently extended until July, was interviewed by the Metropolitan police last month. “In February 2023, the man was interviewed under caution for a ***ual offence alleged to have taken place in Barnet in February 2022,” a statement from the force read. “This relates to a third victim and was reported to police in July 2022.” An investigation is understood to be ongoing.
