    Blackpool Post Match Thoughts

Another 3 points, another team above us in the table beaten. What's not to like about being a Miller tonight? Classic tactical smash and grab raid or riding our luck? Someone mentioned it's our first back to back league wins in almost 60 games. Team starting to click, could we do 9 on the trot like February 1982?

    Thoughts?

Well done Millers, shame about spoiling the clean sheet.
Should put us around 10th place.
Well done to the 1,801 Millers supporters...👍

Well done millers. We can't pass for toffee but 2 goals from set pieces so that is an improvement and vi tal in close matches. MOMs: Iekwe,Lyndsey, Smith, Iversen.

Pleased they didn't get the pen one minute earlier than they did or I would have got thru some bog paper.

A lot of good points defencivley. Always seemed to have someone there to clear int first half.

Built on that int second and got more attacking and scored a couple of good goals. Our game management was better but we still managed to concede.

Ican see a fine coming for both clubs for the amount of bookings.

Great result! Can we dream of automatic promotion? We seem to have a lot going for us. It would be nice

Excellent result and brilliant support today.
10th now but breathing down the necks of all the teams above us bar Ipswich.
Consistency and a bit of luck with injuries is all we need.

    A game of two halves?

Had the radio on, unable to attend due to illness, and we were definitely under the cosh first half. Players sounded like they couldn't pass to each other for toffee. Blackpool should have taken the lead more than once but the MOTM Iversen kept it to 0-0 at half time.

Second half - lucky substitutions due to injuries? This gave us a different shape and push that brought about better pressure on the Blackpool goal. Smudge scores again! and Robertson finishes off the game with a well taken goal.

Back to back wins as previously stated but more importantly, both were top 4 sides at the time before kick off.. This is making a statement we are on our way slowly but surely. What Warne may now have to do is be more brave and start the likes of Clarke if Mattock is injured once again. Any news on Mattock?

Smash and grab? No for me it was a patient sometimes dangerous and lack lustre performance first half but, we got ourselves together in the second half and came away with 3 well earned points. UTM!

Update on Mattock - Warne says Mattock was complaining his quads were feeling tight so wouldn't risk him.

Crooks - Not feeling well pre match had the squits all week but still offers to play and he took a crack on the ankle so off he came.

Thought they were getting down the wings far too easily first half Olasunde often out of position. We did have some decent spells of posession first half without offering much. They had a20 min spell first half where we were a bit under the cosh but as you said Iversen bailed us out with some good saves. Think he is a lot more solid goalie than rodak by the way.

Warney also full of praise on Radio DeeDah for Iversen for keeping us in the game first half.

    I think preparation is everything.

Brin and I prepared superbly for this game.
