    I'm pretty sure it used to snow in the 70's and 80's as well?

    Yeah we got about a foot,mind were in Shotley Bridge, thats near to Consett, for all you townees. More to come today apparently,get the burner going and daytime tele for me. I blame Rafa for this weather like,its all his fault!

    Steady downfall here.

    My partner's cousin is on the way down from Rochdale with two tickets for tonight's replay at Wembley so it's up to the local trains..

    Do you know Mick, I can't ever remember schools being closed when I was a lad and we went through the horrendous winter of 1947

    That was unbelievable.
