Fantastic news, gives us great consistency; he will have learnt a lot about the Championship and the squad over the last season and should known what we need to make it next season.

the players we keep will also start with a higher fitness baseline, know what he expects and he will have a full preseason to work with them having planned in advance what he needs to work on. There was a good podcast on the Square Ball where we had far and away the best expected goals stat and fewest expected conceded goals in the Championship.
Expected goals looks at the number and quality of chances created which reinforces the view of many on here that we were light up front.
hopefully we can be more successful with any loans we bring in. I thought Harrison did okay but the other three didn’t work out. Compare that to the players WBA, Villa, Derby, Norwich and Sheffield Utd brought in.
cant wait to see if he gives some of our retry ring players another look too. Pearce, Denton and de Bock at left back which needs cover. Ekuban, Wilkes and Grot up front. Actually think Ekuban could end up being a decent player, he is quick and strong just needs to add composure and did Weill in Turkey.
Bielsaball with good players should be fun to watch.
