Green may have been one of those KN approached in the Summer but was turned down.

If you've seen this then it's the results of a survey of Charlton fans asking who they want to sign. He hasn't actually signed at all.

He has been out with a hamstring injury and Derby may be prepared to let him go as he's not going to force his way back in. Burton have made enquiries.

The problem with strikers, or should I say good strikers is that they will be already playing somewhere and will undoubtedly not be out of contract until the summer. Plus with it being January any bids for players are always at inflated prices.

Having said that if we could pick up someone who is decent but not getting in a Championship side with a view to them coming here and helping us to promotion with a view to playing in League One next season this could be possible.

I would be happy to see us pick up a 31/32 year old striker from the championship who's played at the highest level like Stead/Ameobi and have the quality and experience that they bring.
