Why do teams in shyt form always pose the biggest threat to us?
Hopes shattered again, glass back to half.
Lets be honest here billy you don't need a lesson to know Cooper over Rodon is absolute madness.

When you look at what Leicester and Ipswich did to Southampton , and then Leeds come along and......

    Ok, so a couple of home-truths we all should know by now;

A small number (after all we're a handful of games in and not all have been "good") of successes simply isn't enough to establish any kind of warm feeling wrt the next game

EVERY, and I mean EVERY club we face will ALWAYS raise their game because we are LEEDS ****ING UNITED!!!! How many times do we have to be faced with that reality to know it is true?

We need consistency and the kind of effort the players at Wolves and Luton showed today. Nothing like that in the games.played this season, must do better (and so must th coach)

And.we.need.a.left.back who really IS a left.back, but we've all known that for a long time, shame the powers that be seem.to be blind.

Cooper you see, is a real nice fella, we’ll liked by his team mates, well spoken, says all the right things, good family man.
Should be picked on his footballing though.

I don't buy Farkes 'I didn't want to embarrass any of the players' line (by neither changing team nor making half-time subs). Nuts.

    Mmm, Farkes comments.
The ones its aimed at are obvious, just Farke's way to convey a message that would be too 'socially awkward'.

Possibly trying to keep all players happy & on their toe's that starting eleven too.

Lot of old pro's would state never change a winning line-up after last weeks great win but it back fired badly & now Farke defo knows the liabilities of when certain players are picked how consistency evaporates & effects others on the pitch.

He'll also use same philosophy for left-back scenario & give Firpo his chance for sure & try to utilise exactly what he's got to offer - but as been said 'a few on borrowed time now'.

Its there in his further comments.
"What was decisive was that our defensive behaviour was not spot on, like it was in the last games, when we had four clean sheets in a row."

"We need to be more aware, more awake, sharper in decisive moments. Tiny little moments can make a big difference".

    Strange rotation of defence, imo.😞

So I think it is universally agreed that Farke Farked up with his team selection.

    Noted.

Oh dear, do we have a defence? I've stuck up for Meslier on many occasions when I thought he was unfairly criticised, but today was a game for him to (hopefully) forget. Lying down when faced with an oncoming attacker isn't going to help, it just makes the dink for the first goal that much easier. Not much else to comment on, at least that doesn't align with all the other comments on this thread.

There was mention of "consistency" on another thread, and for what seems like forever we aren't, and without it (and I do mean "good" consistency!) we're destined to be in this league (or lower) for a long time.

Oh, and just one question someone may be able to answer, who the f00k is "Rooter"? I don't know of any such player in the LUFC squad.
Don't you live within 5 or 6 miles of St Marys????

Think it's also clear even at this early stage that Leicester, even after selling maddison and Barnes will walk this league, they are streets ahead of everybody, if we make play offs we will have done well. Even second I feel is beyond us.

Yes, and like a lot of Leeds supporters who live within the same distance of ER, that's not the only consideration when thinking of attending.
