Least we know what's happening now, although I think everyone was 99% sure he'd be off anyway.
Wide players - we have McLennan, Wright, Hedges, McGinn. The first two are likely to continue to show glimpses of promise but be generally pretty inconsistent and infuriating to watch at times... the third is an unknown quantity so who knows... the fourth is quality but ageing and increasingly injury prone and may be better suited to a more central role behind / alongside a main striker.
So I agree, we could do with another wide player who would be straight on the team sheet - I've got a feeling this will be one of the loan signings rather than a permanent one though, and they won't arrive until towards the end of the window.

Hard to knock back NYC although it's easy to knock back NYC FC.
I would have liked him to have stayed tbh but in some games he was anonymous and I don't mean McGinn anonymous. What was the game he was subbed after about 20mins?
