Totally disagree but we're all allowed an opinion. I'd prefer not to see the carnage that results from the relaxed gun laws which continue to use 'right to defend myself and my property' as the excuse. Greater than an average of one mass shooting per day is nothing to shout about.

Quite. The American record on crime is hardly one to seek to emulate.

UK law allows a householder to use disproprtionate force to defend his property.

I don’t like the gun laws either but I do like the right to defend myself and my property without worrying about any consequences.
