    Ashes on NYS turf??

    Just got a quick question please.
    My mates grandad has recently passed away and he was wondering if the club let you spread some ashes on NYS pitch?
    I'm sure you can but need it confirming..anyone know if you can please?
    I'll contact the club for him anyway but if you could help with any info it would be great ta UTM

    No official football league directive on this issue but most clubs do NOT allow it

    A friend of mine had a mate ( a keen angler) who wanted his ashes thrown into the lake at Greasboro dam , according to him he went one better and mixed it with some ground bait and caught loads. Don't know if he was winding me up .

    I'm pretty sure there were quite a few ashes scattered on millmoor.Didnt Derek Dalton have his ashes scattered there for a start.

    It gets turned over every season so you need to dig a hole to put ashes in surely
    Think it’s up to club so you’d need to ask
