I know a few people from the Annan area still travel to watch Queens home and away, but how many others who used to come up the road regularly have abandoned Queens since Annan Athletic came into the League structure. Even if it's only a handful it's revenue lost to Queens.

As for the plans of EduSport, like others have said, pie in the sky and very unlikely to seriously get off the ground. Not quite the same lines as Gretna, this is more to be fan financed rather than a rich man's toy, although it allegedly turned out that Gretna's millionaire backer was not as rich as he made out as his creditors will testify. Reminds me of a former Glasgow club in that respect.
Aye. I have no argument with any of that. I suppose it's understandable that people in Annan will be inclined to support Annan though. I'm left wondering what sort of people would support an initiative such as this. Possibly people who have no historical interest in football but want to get on the bandwagon, so to speak.

Once you cut through the jargon it’s really just an idea to sell shares in the club with an element of fans ownership, not really that innovative tbh. I’d guess the plan is to relocate back to a more heavily populated area, wouldn’t surprise me if they fancy rebranding themselves under a more historic name.. third Lanark for example.

As far as I'm aware Third Lanark are up and running again as an amateur club.
