gets stuck in, dont take any ****.

If ever we are chasing an equaliser, would be a mare for defer=nders facing him and Caroll

I think he will struggle with injuries tbh

He was very good against Arsenal as well...just isolated. He strong, has good movement, doesn't lose the ball needlessly and was very cool with his finish today.

I think some of the "injuries" were instructed...

Wonder what he said to the ref when he was coming off to warrant a yellow card.

Think the yellow was just for time wasting.

He held off Sanchez and someone else with one hand each (I seem to remember). He's an ox of a man and if he can exceed his career-long 1-in-4 stat, he can stake his claim to fill that #9 shirt.

But if we've got to wait a bunch more games for another goal, we'll need more up front.

To be fair..Bruce set up with Almiron and the Saint supporting..unfortunately 5he saint got injured(his replacement set up the goal) and we had to defend for most of the match as expected.

Big Joe is good enough to match Rondon IMO..but you are right...we need more from the rest of the squad.
