    Match report

Ok so I made the trek for the league cup match against Coventry
We were deserving of the win overall despite it feeling largely like a training game
First half we just about edged it in a half of few chances but still did enough to lead from 2 well taken goals
The only blight was the poor defending for their goal
Second half we we much better and could and should of had a couple more
On the whole not bad and passed the ball well and with a bit of zip just need to be more decisive near the opposition box.

Yes,decent result. Dont care if 4th -tier Coventry didnt put-out their strongest XI,thats their problem.......cracking game from Evans by all accounts,as Im not one of his greatest fans......scored a goal, another good effort tipped away and got booked. Didnt realise he could be so involved in a game, but there you go......should have booked his spot for next game, along with the excellent Smallwood. Apparently,a lot to be positive about. The only worrying thing is the defending,or lack of it...another game without a clean sheet.

Mowbray needs another defender as priority, especially with the Lenihan and Sheffield United saga still ongoing.

Yes total agreement probably would like Evans alongside Smallwood with gladwin just behind Graham
Whittington won't be pleased but he has hardly set it alight so far and furthermore I would hand Chapman a start on the wing.

Fair play robin , nobody could accuse you of being a glory hunting plastic fan, unlike many others who will be absent home and away, and will probably be going to watch the likes of Man U etc..
