How is it in the national interest to give £20 billion pounds a year to the EU, money which could be spent on the NHS, in order for them to do what presumably even the LibDems could do, which is run this country ?

The benefits outweigh the cost Sinkov - as we will all find out soon enough.

If you're so good at prediction 59/60 there's a job for you out there. The experts got it totally wrong on joining the euro, they got it totally wrong on the effect of voting to leave the EU, the IMF got it totally wrong on our economy just before the crash, the OBR gets it totally wrong every time they predict the economy, and within months not years. So forgive me if I take your warning with a pinch of salt. These 'experts' clearly haven't got a fecking clue, neither do you.

    ...apart from Patrick Minford Sinkov?

Bloody hell, that break at Northcote soon wore off?

wandering down the road to OZ - 59/60....squeezed between the sides....with no escape but through them, but be careful....as you know - there are consequences for joining the dark side.

I've been doing a whole pile of research sinkov for a Labour MEP. I have really not wanted to tell him his time over there would be better spent over here.

All I can seriously ascertain is the EU talks a better game than it actually delivers. Smoke and mirrors, just more bloody smoke and mirrors!

We seriously need to get the fcuk out of the whole sorry charade.

    Agree BT
The EU Parliament is set up along weird lines as you will know
Germany has 96 MEPS France 74 and UK and Italy 73 so we’re third in the pecking order.

They have to work in groups which may not fit their UK
    Viz
Group of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats)
Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament
    European Conservatives and Reformists Group
Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe
Confederal Group of the European United Left - Nordic Green Left
Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance
Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy Group
Europe of Nations and Freedom Group
    Non-attached Members

The chance of UK Labour making significant change in this mess is small. It’s really a talking shop and the Civil servants do what they persuade the Germans and French are important. The decisions have to be ratified by the Governments in the Council.

UKIP managed to exploit the proportional representation to gain a platform they were denied here, but they did little constructive ...well for Europe!
