According to BBC news there is a massive fire at Nottingham train station this morning

Sounds bad by all accounts plus another incident on Waverly Street

Nothing is confirmed yet and if the trains aren't running they will put buses on abit of a pain but better than nothing.

We're booked on the 10.30am.

Fingers crossed trains are running as replacements buses will be a fiasco

The fire seems pretty major, so I'm guessing it'll be busses to Derby and East Midlands Parkway for a few weeks. I can't see them getting it all cleaned up and made safe that quick. Just glad nobody was hurt.

sounds like the fire is under control, carrington street reopened, no indication on if the station will be back in operation tomorrow
