    Burn recalled by Fulham

Well just as Burn and Bartley were getting a decent partnership going one is injured and the other goes back to his club. Talk about been dropped in the sheite. It just seems like one bit of bad news afer the other down the Blues these days.

Happy New Year Everyone! It's certainly a blow to lose Dan Burn back to Fulham and Bartley getting injured. Having a stable back four seems to be a necessary pre-requisite for any team wanting to enjoy a run of form. We really need another center back - I wonder whether Will Packwood has ever played there?

Despite the issues, it's been fun watching Blues go on this unbeaten run, and to see younger players like Tom Adeyemi, Callum Reilly and Olly Lee really step up to the plate.

With a question mark over Lingard's continuing loan it really does undeline the perilous nature of our predicament. It also shows what a good job that Clark is doing by holding the club together with string and sealing wax.
It will be a real achievement if we get to stay in this division this year.
