    Demon Drink

Sad day for me as my friend and neighbour who I went to home matches with passed away, he did drink too much and that is what no doubt contributed to his death.

Now we all like a few beers but I wouldn't want it to be the death of me.

    Arf.

It's not nice to see the deterioration in someone though when it's self inflicted.

    Thanks Jimmy.

He was mid 50's, I've known him over 30 years and he has always been a drinker, too much of one unfortunately.

Better to have a good life and die younger. Imagine if every night ended with 'and then we drove home' rather than ' the police came and freed us from the penguin enclosure' or ' but at least I got the nurses number'.
Problem with drink is that it tends to take people slowly at the end. Alcoholics rarely die peacefully in their sleep
    RIP
