The National Trust has named a new-born beaver after the English ‘keeper in the Wifies’ World Cup.

I rattled through the thread archive to find a suitable home for this nugget of info, and decided that “Diving” seemed most apposite. All to do with the quine’s undoubted abilities, agility, and athleticism in preventing the leathern sphere from breaching the goal-line, and nothing to do with the sport of erm…”beaver-diving”.
