    Padden Madden Poised To Sign

It has been reported that we are poised to sign Paddy Madden from Yeovil after the clubs agreed a fee of £300,000. Apparently Yeovil turned down bids of £200,000 from both S****horpe and Rotherham earlier in the week.

A fantastic signing and a real show of intent if it comes off.

Excuse title typo. I think I've gone hyper at the prospect of this signing!!!

If we get Paddy Madden I really believe glory times could be on their way again. Must go and lie down now.

It is £300,000 and confirmed. He is currently undergoing a medical.

My view - Good riddance. Highly talented player and more than good enough for the Championship. But talk about an attitude problem.

IF (and that is a big if), you can control his ego and temprement, there is little doubt of his class. If not, then look out.

Well, if there were no issues with him we probably wouldn't stand a chance of getting him here. A nice little test for Russ Wilcox and his man management skills then.
Well worth a go and if his goals get us back to the Championship in the next couple of years followed by a nice profit when we sell him it could be smiles all round.
