How much did S****horpe sting us for Kevan Hurst, A?120,000?

    What goes around comes around

Has anyone seen Hurst by the way playing for Southend on The Football League show, strutting like a Peacock with that cocky attitude.

Got sent off for throwing himself into the fans and a bad tackle.

As soon as he went off Southend scored two goals.

By the way the fee wasn't 300k, it was quite a bit less than that, that was just the fee Yeovil initially was looking for.

I don't think we have been stung with paying that for him, seeing as he finished the league 1 top goalscorer only last season.

Our new chairman is ambitious, Winnall and Madden as a partnership, sounds good to me my northern folks.

The actual fee was close to 200k, which in todays market is cheap for him.

I heard that Wonder_goal too, rumoured that S****horpe and Rotherham both put in bids for A?200k and that S****horpe won out with A?235k.

I wonder if Adam Collin had a word with the Rotherham manager and told him that he is **** so they cooled their interest

There has never been any middle ground with Paddy Madden to be fair so he will probably be either ace or rubbish.

235k is a massive risk for a fourth division club to take though.

If he fires you to promotion then it's money well spent.

They are already top of their division so I guess they plan bo bed him in and go for a Yeovil style push next year.

Some bad things must have happened with him at Yeovil, I think he only played the odd game then he wasn't even on the bench.

I know some Notts County fans who were hoping that they could lure Pady Madden to Notts County using his connection with Greg Abbott

Bad Egg - Toxic to have in the dressing room. Shame Brian Laws wasn't still there as they would have suited each other perfectly!
