Announced this morning that 24 is set to return to our screens this May..

Oddly, only 12 episodes are planned (jumps in time rather than 2 hour episodes), but looking forward to it nonetheless.

The first series was good. Since then the story lines have got more and more ridiculous and unbelievable. This guy has got out of more scrapes than Dick Barton. Google him.

I introduced a mutual friend (DJ) to 24 a few years back.

During one of his forays into singledom, I think he managed Series 1 & 2 over the course of one (sleepless) weekend.

I watched Series 1 (ok) and gave up halfway through the second. A tired format that should never really have gone past the initial series given its ridiculous plot lines.
