    If Andy Carroll manages...

    To score 3 against the toon this Saturday he would be the first Hammers striker to score a hat-trick in the Premier league since Marlon Harewood in 2005. So all this striker kerfuffle we are having is nothing new at all then!

    Just for the record, the other PL hat-trick strikers are Tony Cottee and Paul Kitson (twice).

    Well unless Carroll can score a 3 in the last 20mins...which is all he will get max in saturdays game.
