Actually I'm gutted. I had this one earmarked as one the key doorstep fixtures for me ... I'll probably be in the air above Dubai when the lads kick off!!!
I don't know if it helps, but Bletchley station is closer to the MKD stadium than MK Central ...Originally Posted by Wolfiebill
Cheers Bill MK Central is easier for us we'll probably have a few drinks then travel to the ground on Bill's minibuses, the Local Arriva No1 Bus or grab a cab or three!

Eve, we didn't take more than 2500-3000 to Newcastle that day , 1000+ by plane of course. However to answer MitchiganWolf, two games spring to mind:-
Bolton away 1977, Our last game of the season, promotion assured, Bolton needed to win to go up with us (we won 1-0, Forest got promotion and the rest is history). We absolutely rammed the bowl of an end that was the away end at Burnden park. I went on one of the six special trains that day. The gate was 38000 and it was stated that we took 11000.But I think the end held more than that, you can find this game on youtube to check it out.
The other game was in the nineties, Albion away, they had just tak

The other game was
Youtube it EVE , Bradley scored the winner for them, 3-2 Thomas for us. We filled the biggest part of the ground don't forget.
Another 10K plus game was the last game of the 1966-67 season at Crystal Palace. We had to win to win the old second division but we lost 4-1, handing the title to Coventry City who we had lost 3-1 to at their place two weeks earlier. We had a huge following at that Coventry game as well.

I will definitely bee there with my brother and possiblyly my son. I heard that there may be a possibility of 15000 seats, seems a bit much to me, but who knows.
This is no ordinary away game, this will be a pilgramage, nay a GATHERING !
