A very bad Tuesday 28th January night for Charlton as they slump to one of their worst defeats of the season as Doncaster move further away from the relegation places and Charlton remain more firmly in them.

The sending off late in the first half of Lawrie Wilson deflated the team and Rovers goals came from Abdoulaye Meite, Chris Brown (penalty) and Mark Duffy.

Matters are made worse with rumours two key players and possibly a third could leave Charlton within the next few days including popular players Stephens and Kermorgant.

The replacements from the Belgium takeover will not be adequate for the rigours of the Championship making Chris Powell's task of keeping the club in the League very hard work indeed. What a far cry from the hope of last season.
